The UK Government has banned the democratically elected Dutch MP Geert Wilders from entering the UK following a decision by the Home Secretary Jacqui Smith MP that the Dutch MP's presence would "incite racial hatred".

A Home Office spokesperson said:

"The Government opposes extremism in all its forms. It will stop those who want to spread extremism, hatred and violent messages in our communities from coming to our country and that was the driving force behind tighter rules on exclusions for unacceptable behaviour that the Home Secretary announced on in October last year."

Critics of the UK government have said that the decision has headed to the Muslim lobby which includes Lord Ahmed who according to the Daily Mail journalist invited "an Al Qaeda terror suspect to Parliament".

Mr Mahmoud Abu Rideh was invited to Westminster according to the Daily Mail, an individual who was detained on suspicion of fundraising for groups linked to Al Qaeda.

Moreover the British Government's policy of stifling debate on the fascist nature of extreme Islam will only fuel right wing nationalists in the UK, and provoke greater hostility.

The London Daily News only reported this week the revelation that the Metropolitan Police had conceded to the Muslim Police Officers Association to allow officers to hijabs.
