British Expats who have bought property and have experienced fraud, physical assaults and systemic failures in the Republic of Cyprus will be demonstrating outside of Alexandra Palace in north London Sunday 18 May at 3pm, where the President of the Republic of Cyprus will be addressing the capitals Cypriot Diaspora.

The protest has been organised by Conor O'Dwyer who was a victim of a serious physical assault by a property developer in the Republic of Cyprus and was defrauded of his home.  "I am looking forward to this peaceful protest and will give President Christofias the respect his authorities have never shown us" Conor O'Dwyer speaking with thelondondailynews.com.

The protest which expects to attract in excess of five hundred people will be attended by the British press who will be outlining the plight of the individuals and families who have bought property in the Republic of Cyprus.

One of the organisers who wanted to remain anonymous said "we want to start hitting home that the Greek-Cypriots have lobbied the European Union for the repatriation of their rightful homes in the north of the island.  In many cases we have paid for property, have contracts of property that have never materialised. We want justice, and we want the President of Cyprus to listen to our demands and take us seriously".
