Easter this year in London will be celebrated by all the main Christian denominations, and will mean many more people scrambling to find something to do during the holidays. The London Daily News has searched far and wide and lists below a recommendation of what to do. If you are religious and want to really "feel" Easter why not try one of the 40 Orthodox churches in the capital, The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom (Saint Sophia) on Moscow Road in Bayswater on Saturday evening for the "Kalo Logos" which sees candles lit to celebrate the Resurrection, or St Paul’s Cathedral Easter Liturgy on Saturday evening from 7pm. The Church of England reported this week, that church attendance is up by 24 per cent since 2000 with 50,000 worshippers expected to attend Easter services this weekend. The Greek Orthodox Church is expecting a figure nearing 200,000 given the importance Easter is to the Orthodox faith.
