Patients have rated Ealing Hospital the worst in the country for its overall level of care.
The West London Trust came bottom of 165 trusts according to the Healthcare Commission after 76,000 patients were asked about, cleanness, information on treatments, food and mix sexed wards.

Cleanliness No1 issue 25% of patients said doctors failed to wash their hands, bathrooms and toilets were also said to be filthy. Ealing NHS Trust said it had begun a two year improvement programmed including weekly patient surveys.
