Self styled money saving expert Martin Lewis has launched a new website comparing the prices of music downloads. The site searches over nine million tracks from the likes of iTunes, Amazon MP3, TuneTribe, Orange, Play.com, 7digital, HMV, We7, and Tesco. Most prices differ by a few pounds for albums, though on some releases there is a £10+ difference depending on which service you use. From a quick play, the general message seems to be that when it comes to pop releases you are probably saving money downloading it from the Tesco website. It could also be a blessing for obscure releases. It's at www.tunechecker.com Additional reporting by CMU Network
