Detectives are trying to identify the body of a man found naked on Tube tracks. It is believed the man was struck by a train in the early hours of Monday morning - Tuesday morning his corpse was found on Piccadilly line tracks between Osterley and Boston Manor, which is overground. Police are appealing for help in identifying the man after inquiries ran into a dead end. There are no reports of a missing man matching his description. Detective Inspector Ian Baker, of the British Transport Police, said: "We've made extensive enquiries to establish his identity but unfortunately we have so far been unable to do so. The fact that he was found naked is very unusual and it's vital that we work out who this man is and piece together his movements before his death. Someone may have seen him earlier in the night or have information about how he came to be in the area of the station at that time." The man is described as black, between 5'8” and 6' tall and has a large build. He is thought to be between 25 and 35 years of age. He also has a shaved head. DI Baker added: "We would also like to speak to anyone who may have seen a man matching this description in the area around Osterley station from about 1am on Monday morning."
