The war of words between Pete Andre and Jordan aka Katie Price took on a new dynamic with a robust defence of Katie Price following an article that appeared in the London Daily News.

The correspondence via email is printed in full:

"It has become obvious that the media and Peter Andre's 'PR machine' is publically assassinating the image of Katie Price. The media's clever use of language, image and 'spin' is being used to provoke strong opinions - and is creating a 'hatred' of Katie. In who's interests?? Many people will not even have met Katie Price - and the 'reality shows' will have been carefully edited - so who ACTUALLY knows the 'fact' from 'fiction' in current events? Regardless of the limited factual data, the public has been 'stirred' to form strong opinion - that is based on assumptions and speculation.. led by the media.. to raise a profile and then crush it - did not Susan Boyle suffer in the same way recently??

I find it uncomfortable that Peter Andre advises that he wishes to keep the private details of his 'split' to himself - but, after he walks out on HIS WIFE and 3 children, he avoids even speaking to HIS WIFE, but then airs the details to his private life in front of 600 million people - and uses the hurtful words in his song to promote his flagging 'career'. This particular song will have been written in a studio that was set in Katie's house!

Both Katie and Peter have previously denied allegations that their marriage was in any trouble at all - indeed, they confirmed that they wanted more children in the future! So at least one of them is able to lie convincingly!!

Katie is making an impressive attempt to carry on with her career and home life - now as a single parent - under these extremely distressing conditions. Even her childcare is now under 'public' attack - when there is NO evidence to suggest that she has ever provided anything other than a loving and caring envionment to her 3 children.

This news article is the first time I have seen any responsible reporting regarding this couple - let's have much more of it please rather than the current 'poisonous reporting that only benefits one of the parties involved..."

Oh for goodness sake. Whoever wrote that response couldn't even write it clearly! If it talks like a duck and walks like a duck.... then chances are, it's a duck. The woman is a sl*g- yes, an ambitious, self-sufficient and surviving sl*g, but one nonetheless. She must have been hell to live with.

Dear All, I have to admit that I became a fan of both these young people and have been very angry of late at all the bad press that Katie has received. The worst one is the repetition of the advert for the Katie and Peter show of them debating in the car where Pete says 'you are going to eat your words' to Katie. Guess what Pete, she won't. You see Katie has always been a very focus and strong minded person, but most of all she is a survivor. So, I was so glad to read one intelligent article which did not cast Katie into the ashes. Nice to read that someone else wants can see the true picture.
