The renowned Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge was targeted by the Paris Saint-Germain club for a staggering transfer of £45million.
A delegation from Paris is expected to attend the clash between Holland and England on Tuesday.
The boss of Paris Saint-Germain is looking for a new centre-forward as Edinson Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are set to leave this summer. Sturridge became a priority on their list.
Sturridge declared earlier this year in an interview for Daily Mail that he is open to leaving Liverpool this summer though he has three more years according to the deal.
The transfer depends on Cavani’s move to Manchester United, Chelsea or Arsenal.
