Subject: Albanian hit men on hire in London for £5,000
I must confess it's been a long time since I have last read such a blatantly libelous article. It is a false and malicious publication printed not for exposing some real and present danger but for the purpose of defaming Albanians in the UK and elsewhere.
Without wanting to deconstruct every fallacy and misrepresentation within the article – otherwise I'd be here forever! - I would like to point out two things, which might give your readers a better idea about the objectivity of this piece.
Firstly, by using a sentence such as "the bloody Balkans conflict against Serbia" the article attempts to intimate that somehow Serbia was the aggrieved party in that conflict, when we all know that the opposite is true in all cases, in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo. And secondly, the names of the allegedly “influential Albanian families” are all full names, not family names, and crucially they are shown in Serbian and not their original Albanian spelling. This begs the question, is your source/journalist/paymaster by any chance Serbian?
In closing, whether you strive to be a sensationalist or a serious news portal, sub-standard articles such as the above-mentioned one will quickly ensure that you will fail in both those pursuits. |

Subject: Muslim children in state schools
Salaam
Muslim children have been attending state schools for tha last 60 years. They have been suffering from Paki-bashing and bullying. Majority of them have been leaving schools with low grades. They have been leaving schools without learning their cultural and linguistic skiils. The result is that they do not know where they belong. They suffer from Identity crises. Now Muslim youths are victim of terrorism. Thousands of them are being searched in streets and hundreds of them are behind the bar without any trial.
Bilingual Muslim children need state funded Muslim schools with bilingual Muslim teachers as role models during their developmental periods. There is no place for a non-Muslim child or a teacher in a Muslim school.
There are hundreds of state and church schools where Muslim children are in majority. In my opinion, all such schools may be designated as Muslim community schools.
Bilingual Muslim children need to learn and be well versed in standard English to follow the National Curriculum and go for higher studies and research to serve humanity. At the same time, they need to learn and be well versed in Arabic, Urdu and other community languages to keep in touch with their cultural roots and enjoy the beauty of their literature and poetry.
A Muslim is a citizen of this tiny global village. He/she does not want to become notorioulsy monolingul Brit.

Subject: Turkish community boycott of City Hall "Nevruz
Dear Dario Roco,
I don’t know where you got that information but Nevruz is celebrated in Turkey and no one is subjected to torture or killing when celebrating Nevruz and certainly no one will be labelled as PKK terrorist for celebrating Nevruz as Nevruz is celebrated for thousands of years from Northern China to the Balkan’s by Turkic tribes. If you watch the below link you will see the Nevruz celebration taking place in national TV channel TRT attended by government representatives.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaWzaZHQ_iQ
I watched the link you sent and my comment is as this: no one is claiming there are no problems in some parts of South East Turkey but this is a deliberately created problem by some imperialist powers to divide Turkey by using PKK. This video is a propaganda video edited to show only one side of the coin. You have to see the whole picture. Every year some terrorist minded people get together and set out to ruin some towns and sabotage the peaceful Nevruz celebrations by provocation. These people force the shop owners to close their shops for a day using every means and set fires on government buildings and to the shops which don’t shut down. They throw stones and petrol bombs at police stations and to the houses if the owner’s of these houses do not submit to their ideals. Can you do that in London?

Subject: Albanian hit men on hire in London for £5,000
Thank you London Daily for exposing these albanian criminal gangs that are plaguing our streets. I must commend you on this honest, objective and brave article! The Albanians are clearly a nation of criminals and terrorists. This is very evident in any city or town throughout Europe where the albanian are a majority. The heart of their criminal empire starts in Kosovo! An illegal and terrorist entity stolen from Serbia with the open assistance from various other international terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda, not to mention NATO! This illegal entity is currently being run criminals gangsters and by former members of the KLA. A group that was on the CIA’s terrorist list until 1999, when it was conveniently taken off. As a result, Kosovo is a nation in chaos! The UNHCR estimates that over 250,000 Serbians and other ethnic minorities have been driven from their homes and are still living in refugee camps in Serbia and Montenegro! Over 150 Churches and monasteries destroyed. Most dating back over 600 years. None of which have been rebuilt. And the remaining Serbian population living in ghettos, surrounded by barbed wire and under constant UN protection. Despite this, they are still being attacked in their schools and in their homes, and are not able to access basic human rights like electricity or gas supplies in winter. The legacy left behind in Kosovo is a nation that is the largest suppliers of drugs to Europe. Not to mention various other criminal activities ranging from prostitution, kidnappings. To trafficking in human organs and arms through to Mafia and terrorist activities which are all too evident throughout the world.
I would like to thank you again for this well researched article.
Please keep up the excellent work.

Subject: And the winner is....the Greek boy
Unfortunately, I am unable to send a 'comment' on this article and I am also unable to send a 'letter' to the Editor. I, therefore, wish to send my comments regarding this item to you - in the hope that it can be added to the 'comments' to this article and sent as a letter to the Editor.
It has become obvious that the media and Peter Andre's 'PR machine' is publically assassinating the image of Katie Price. The media's clever use of language, image and 'spin' is being used to provoke strong opinions - and is creating a 'hatred' of Katie. In who's interests?? Many people will not even have met Katie Price - and the 'reality shows' will have been carefully edited - so who ACTUALLY knows the 'fact' from 'fiction' in current events? Regardless of the limited factual data, the public has been 'stirred' to form strong opinion - that is based on assumptions and speculation.. led by the media.. to raise a profile and then crush it - did not Susan Boyle suffer in the same way recently??
I find it uncomfortable that Peter Andre advises that he wishes to keep the private details of his 'split' to himself - but, after he walks out on HIS WIFE and 3 children, he avoids even speaking to HIS WIFE, but then airs the details to his private life in front of 600 million people - and uses the hurtful words in his song to promote his flagging 'career'. This particular song will have been written in a studio that was set in Katie's house!
Both Katie and Peter have previously denied allegations that their marriage was in any trouble at all - indeed, they confirmed that they wanted more children in the future! So at least one of them is able to lie convincingly!!
Katie is making an impressive attempt to carry on with her career and home life - now as a single parent - under these extremely distressing conditions. Even her childcare is now under 'public' attack - when there is NO evidence to suggest that she has ever provided anything other than a loving and caring envionment to her 3 children.
This news article is the first time I have seen any responsible reporting regarding this couple - let's have much more of it please rather than the current 'poisonous' reporting that only benefits one of the parties involved...
Thank you |

Subject: Make Votes Count
Sir,
David Cameron (http://www.thelondondailynews.com/cameron-warns-voting-reform-could-westminster-p-3036.html) has a huge vested interest in maintaining an electoral system which might give him virtually unfettered power after the next election on only 40% of the vote.
The expenses row has exposed the weakness of a system that guarantees MPs in safe seats a life tenure, almost regardless of what they do. Even with new faces that a general election brings, the same lack of accountability, except in the most exceptional circumstances, will continue. There should be a referendum on the voting system, to take place on the same day as the next general election. It would give voters the chance to register their feelings at the ballot box twice: once to get rid of a tainted MP; and once to get rid of a rotten system and change things for good. This is about giving power back to the man and woman on the street; taking that decision away from the party machines who favour the status quo.
Proportional systems reflect the strength of voter feeling: if enough people vote for a particular party, that party gains some representation. Representation; not power. Voters in Barking and Dagenham and Epping Forest are already keenly aware of how the BNP has got a monopoly of power in some wards, despite only 30% of the vote – such is the way the current First-Past-the-Post system for council elections works.
Different PR systems are appropriate for different elections. The system used for electing MEPs is simple for the voter; a more diverse set of views and parties gain representation; and there are opportunities for a better gender balance of successful candidates.
However, no electoral reformer would wish to see the closed list system in place for electing MPs. Like Cameron, we recognise the need to rebuild a strong link between constituents and their MP. But, unlike him, we favour giving voters more choice over candidates. Alternative Vote Plus (the system which was drawn up with public involvement by the Jenkins Commission and is favoured by Alan Johnson) and the Single Transferable Vote do exactly that. But the key thing is to let the voter decide – which Cameron seems intent on preventing.

Subject: US & Turkey re: Cyprus
It is not within Hillary Clinton or President Obama’s gift to give Cyprus or a part of Cyprus to Turkey in exchange for anything let alone promises of co-operation from the latter that has a history of reneging on its international treaties.
It has always been known that the US favoured Turkey in respect of its illegal occupation of the northern 37.5% of Cyprus and it has long been suspected that President Bush and or his advisors made promises of sorts with regards that island to Turkey in return for assistance with Iraq. If that is the case then neither the US nor Turkey have been able to circumvent international law.
Both the US and Turkey have three major problems, first Cyprus is a member of the EU and as such the European states cannot support any declarations recognising and or legitimising the present illegal state of affairs.
Secondly it is believed that British policy on Cyprus has always been to ensure that Cyprus remains a single sovereign state weakened by federation so that it may preserve its interest on the island represented by the British bases. A confederation will result in two separate states with Turkey having full legitimate control over the northern part of the island and total control over the straights between the two countries. They are unlikely to agree such an arrangement as it is not and never has been in their interest.
Thirdly and most importantly, the people of Cyprus will never accept a confederation. Cyprus has no natural borders separating the occupied north and the free south. What ever may be declared or recognised outside of Cyprus will not be worth the paper it is written on without local support. Turkey will need to maintain an army of occupation in a European democratic sovereign state. The 22nd Century differs substantially from the 21st in that Countries are expected to behave according to international law. Cyprus and its people have learned not to rely on so-called western allies but to use the mechanics of the international institutions, courts and tribunals to maintain to preserve their legal and human rights.
At a time when President Obama is calling upon North Korea to observe international Law the last thing his administration needs to once again demonstrate, that there is one set of laws for its foes and another for its friends. If his administration is to mean anything it must be impartial and apply the law regardless. |

Subject: Jack Green Un-Released Material Now Available
Dear Editors: 1980's power pop sensation Jack Green has now made an album of unreleased material (his first in 23 yrs.) available by purchase through his YouTube account nelsonwight. A free 'taster' music video track entitled "The Things That I've Seen" chronicles his many experiences within the music industry. Jack was John & Yoko's overwhelming choice to open up for them in the tragically aborted 1980 Double Fantasy Tour, was in New York performing and subsequently participated at the vigil with the masses of mourners in front of the Dakota. Prior to this Jack appeared in the musical 'HAIR', recorded guitar work for Country Joe & the Fish with his band "Sunshine" and toured with Marc Bolan and T-Rex. Jack also toured the world extensively for four years with the British R & B group, "The Pretty Things". He has previously recorded four albums, Humanesque, Reverse Logic, Mystique, & Latest Game (of which is currently available on Revolver Records). Among those who have backed Jack on his recordings are: Ritchie Blackmore, Jim Capaldi, Kelly Groucutt, John Bundrick, Snowy White, Simon Kirke, Boz Burrell & Pete Tolson. An autobiography covering his six decades in music is forthcoming.

Subject: Iran
This story about the Iran protests being a U.S. operation -- you are lying, evil scumbags, and everyone knows it. A quick search shows that the quote you attribute to Obama was actually Sarkozy, and you knew it because it was from the same WSJ piece you referenced. The "Iranian Lawmaker" quote was from 2008, in the LA Times. You did no reporting at all, you plagiarized and lied, but more importantly you undermined the Iran opposition by claiming, online where everyone can see it, that they are instruments of U.S. power. Those kids are dying because they actually have a slim chance for freedom, and you just come along and piss on it for no reason at all. You aren't human. |

Subject: BBC licence fee
Sir,
Sir Michael Lyons of the BBC states "no.....demands on licence fee payers to help fund the political...................... concerns of the day". I suggest that that is precisely what is happening at present, but unfortunately those same licence fee payers have absolutely NO say in whatever agenda the BBC dreams up.
Yours, etc |
