Cumberland hotel faces black cab boycott

The Cumberland Hotel on Great Cumberland Place in central London is facing a boycott from black cabbies following a dispute with the hotels door staff.

The LTDA has order all its members and other black cabbies to stop attending the rank outside of the hotel in protest at door staff demanding payment for cabs working the hotel.

The dispute is set to start  1 September.  The Cumberland Hotel is owned by the Guoman Group.
