We called it right from the start

The London Daily News made the bold prediction that the Labour vote would disintegrate in the local government elections on May 1.

Our exit poll on May 1 which showed the 20-30% per cent increase in turnout was used widely by the mainstream media hours after we declared this.  Despite the Mayoral elections not being announced until later this evening we are confident based on our research that Boris has done enough to win on the first choice preferences, and believe based on our own survey he will win between 54-56% per cent of the vote.

Only Sky News is now saying that Boris will win the election, with the BBC and Evening Standard sticking by the mantra that "the election is too close to call".

London is annoyed with Ken and Labour, and the Labour vote simple did not turn up.  The ethnic vote Ken depended is and was not enough to decide the outcome of the election.  Remember who the majority is?

We see the Labour myth of economic prudence unravel, and a nation struggling to deal with the massive problems it faces, with a government unable to provide the right solutions.

Get packing Ken!
