Sky News anchor Kay Burley has been criticised for her interview with Peter Andre, which ended up in the pop star in tears.  Video clips of the interview which has already been seen by over 130,030 people, the majority of the comments highly negative on Burley's approach.

In the interview which was a pre-booked appearance from Sky by Andre, Burley showed a clip of Katie Price former partner Dwight Yorke who accused Andre of looking after his son Harvey as "part of the baggage of being with Kate". Andre immediately attacked Yorke for being disrespectful and not even saying "thank you", "I asked to adopt him because I loved him".

Burley then said if Katie Price new partner Alex Aristides Reid was to adopt Peter Andre's chilidren how he would feel, "no one is going to take my kids away from me, nobody".  "I will die for my children, I will go to court if I have to".

Visibly upset, Burley then asks "so tell me about the tour".  Andre asked for the interview to be ended at this stage, in tears by now.  447 comments have been left on the main clip of the interview.

The interview of Kay Burley with Peter Andre had the following comments:

"Sack the bitch!!! End of!!!" Scottmick

"The interview is designed to get at the bloke, what the fuck? I'm not into all this...live your life through the tabloids, but i think Pete Andre is a good man, with good intentions for his kids, KP however, uhhh, makes me sick. He should have full time care of them imo." Dannyjar100

"Do you know what Dwight, I reckon Pete would still adopt harvey now. What part have you played in that child's life? nothing. So what if Kate was a nightmare like you claimed? a father would die before he stopped seeing his kids.. he'd walk over hot coals for them every day. Do you.. nah.. just easy to pass the buck to another fella. You should be thanking Pete for everything he has done for your offspring. you horrendous man. andKB what a bitch."

I actually felt really annoyed at the way in which Kay Burley so coldly asked Peter these very personal questions. Sky News have gone way over the mark, cheap ratings guys? Crass and pathetic, POOR!!!

It is disconcerting to see Sky news being so keen on prying into an individual's personal life and feelings, so as to induce emotional distress of the worst kind. As an individual who likes watching Sky News, I have observed time and again how Kay Burley revels in incessantly poking those she interviews in the most unpleasant manner so as to effect as much discomfort in them as she possibly can. Interviews are often not about gathering an insight into the views of those being interviewed, but more about her expressing her personal opinions. She should be sacked!
