Brown attacks Cameron "you cannot airbrush your policies"

The first televised Prime Ministerial debate has seen incumbent Prime Minister Gordon Brown attack David Cameron the leader of the Conservative Party and in a discussion on crime said "you cannot airbrush your policies" in what has been a quick fire debate, held in Manchester.

The first question focused on immigration with David Cameron proposing a border police and attacking the Labour party's immigration policy saying that there has been "no control".

All leaders have been referring to each other with their first names.
