A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a 17-year-old male in Mill Hill.
Police called by London Ambulance Service at approx 00.25hrs on Wednesday, 27 October following reports of a disturbance at Bray Road, close to the junction with Bittacy Hill NW7.
Officers attended the scene and discovered a 17-year-old male suffering from a stab wound to the torso.
He was taken to Barnet General Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Next of kin have been informed. Formal identification awaits.
A post mortem will be arranged in due course.
Detectives from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command investigate and, at this early stage, retain an open mind as to the motive to this incident.
