Barclays Premiership 2008-2009

Not long to go and after a summer of no European football for any of the home nation's thank god the beginning of a new season is fast approaching
.

If you love sport you know it's football that counts, honestly I'm more concerned that Dean Ashton is firing on all cylinders for West Ham Utd than who's chucking a cannon ball from under their chin in Beijing !

But what of the odd's for the capital's football team's winning the Barclays Premiership. Well let's begin with Arsenal coming in at 4-1 a good bet for the title after all the pressure will be on Scholari to deliver at Chelsea who are second favourites at 7-4. But what of the West Ham United will it be another season of mid table mediocrity or will Ashton deliver the goals upfront and force his way back into a England line up, 1000-1 for the title worth a pound if you can afford to lose it. Now what of Tottenham Hotspur, will the cock a doodle do something this season or is the best they can hope for a Uefa cup space via the Carling or Intertoto cup, 50-1 for the title bound to finish top ten. Moving to a more fashionable part of the capital and still a great place to watch premiership teams in action we head to Craven Cottage and Fulham who will probably end up in a relegation battle but at 2000-1 for the title don't waste your hard earned wonga !
