London will soon hold the infamous title of "murder capital of Europe" with another death on the streets of the city.

Shakilus Townsend a 16 year old suffered multiple injuries in an attack in Thornton Heath south London who died in hospital. His murder is thought to be gang-related.

A woman, who tried to save the teenager, said he asked for his mother and said "I don't want to die" as he lay bleeding in the street.

This murder follows the death of Ben Kinsella and two French students who were bound gagged and murdered in the last fews days in London.
