The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that detectives from the Metropolitan Police Service's Extradition Unit arrested a 41-year-old man in connection with a series of murders in Albania.

Ndrieim Sadushi, 41 (13.9.70), of High Rd, Southgate, N11, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Albanian authorities alleging his involvement in three murders and an attempted murder in Albania in 1997.

He is also wanted by Italian authorities for money laundering and drug trafficking offences.

Sadushi was arrested outside his home address and is due to appear in custody for an extradition hearing at Westminster Magistrates' Court tomorrow, 11 April.
