All airports in the UK will be allowed to reopen from 22:00 tonight but it will be some time until  airline operators have crews and planes in the right places to resume a "normal service".

The British government have been lambasted for over-reacting and imposing a no fly zone over the UK by airlines, Lord Adonis has underlined that the governments objective is to uphold in safety and "no stone will be left unturned to return people stranded abroad".

A scandal has also erupted over 100 coaches that were meant to be laid on in Spain by the British government to ferry passengers to France to catch boats to Calais.
